The Ultimate Guide To Buying A Snowboard has been created to help Snowboarders choose the right Snowboard.

When I first bought Snowboarding equipment back in 2005, I had no idea what I was buying. It was extremely hard to find good advice in shops (I was in France, so not quite sure what else to expect), and there was so much stuff to choose from.

My inclination was to spend money on stuff that was expensive and looked cool. I definitely bought stuff that was expensive, and at first it looked cool. But it was all wrong.

Here’s a rundown of how wrong it was:

  • Wrong board – too narrow for my feet
  • Wrong boots – too big for my feet, too bulky, too expensive
  • Wrong bindings – too bulky, didn’t suit my style of riding

You get the idea…

I want to make sure that no-one makes the same mistakes as me.

I want to help you buy awesome gear first time round.

Here is the guide:

  1. When To Buy Your Own Board
  2. Which Style Of Board Should You Choose
  3. How To Choose The Right Length
  4. How To Choose The Right Width
  5. Which Flex Should You Choose
  6. How Much Money To Spend, And How To Save Some
  7. Tech Terms Simplified
